Project Scope

Create an engaging module from otherwise "dry" training.

Make module applicable to election judges of varying degrees of experience.

Convert and enhance a previous Rise module with very little interactivity or opportunity to apply skills.

Solution

We created a module that provided engagement for all levels of experience. This was accomplished by:

1) Building foundation skills and slowly increasing the level of application.

2) Gamifying the flow of content, challenging the user to complete a set of challenges and rewarding the user with symbols of their success and progress.

2) Using quizzes to check understanding and reinforce content.

3) Challenging the user through games and mini-scenarios.

2) Including realistic situations and graphics that election judges experience in their role.
